OT Staff Nurse

About the role

We are looking for an OT Staff Nurse to join our surgical team. The successful candidate will work in the operating theatre, supporting procedures and ensuring that sterile processing standards are met. The position offers a collaborative environment with experienced surgical teams.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care to patients undergoing surgery in the operating theatre.
• Assist with the preparation, handling, and sterilisation of surgical instruments and equipment.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anaesthetists and other healthcare professionals to maintain a safe operative environment.
• Monitor infection control practices and adhere to CSSD protocols.

Required profile

• Minimum of 1 year experience working in a Central Sterile Services Department (CSSD) or related setting.
• Diploma or certification in CSSD preferred, or any relevant paramedical qualification.

Required skills

• Knowledge of sterile processing and instrument handling.
