Paint Production Officer

About the role

The Paint Production Officer oversees daily paint manufacturing operations, ensuring efficient production, adherence to quality standards, and compliance with safety procedures. This role coordinates the entire process from raw material handling to final packaging and storage.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and supervise daily paint production activities.
• Ensure accurate measurement, mixing, and processing of raw materials.
• Monitor production flow from mixing to filling, packaging, and storage.
• Operate and monitor production machinery and equipment.
• Conduct basic quality checks and report any deviations.
• Maintain accurate production and material records.
• Coordinate with Quality Control, Stores, Maintenance, and Sales teams.
• Identify production challenges and recommend solutions.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Chemistry, Production Management, or a related field.
• 3–4 years progressive experience in paint, chemical, or manufacturing production.
• Strong knowledge of paint manufacturing processes, raw materials, mixing, and quality control.
• Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Understanding of health, safety, and environmental standards.
