Preschool Teacher – Toddler Classroom

About the role

Cadence Education is seeking a passionate Preschool Teacher to lead a toddler classroom. You will work under the School Director and Lead Teacher to create a safe, nurturing environment that supports each child’s physical, social, emotional, and developmental growth.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom where children are treated with dignity and respect.
• Greet children and families daily, building welcoming professional relationships.
• Identify and respond to individual developmental, behavioral, cultural, and learning needs, following IEPs and behavior plans as directed.
• Assist the Lead Teacher in planning and delivering developmentally appropriate curriculum and Cadence Signature Programs.
• Communicate with families, coworkers, and leadership using Cadence‑approved tools and systems.
• Follow the Cadence Safety and Supervision Manual, documenting and reporting accidents and incidents.
• Manage, document, and escalate child behaviors in line with Cadence policies.

Required profile

• Experience in childcare, daycare, or early childhood education.
• Ability to support children with IEPs and adhere to licensing and safety standards.
• Strong interpersonal skills for building relationships with children, families, and staff.
• Commitment to Cadence’s research‑based curriculum and collaborative culture.
