Professional Sales Agent – Trade Finance (Kampala)

About the role

The Professional Sales Agent – Nakawa will work on‑site in Kampala to promote trade finance and related services to both new and existing clients. This full‑time position focuses on identifying sales opportunities, presenting tailored solutions, and closing deals while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct client meetings and present insurance and finance products.
• Identify and pursue sales opportunities within the trade finance sector.
• Negotiate terms, close deals, and maintain strong client relationships.
• Respond promptly to client inquiries and provide high‑quality customer service.
• Prepare regular sales reports and collaborate with internal teams for smooth service delivery.
• Support training activities for clients or team members on product offerings and processes.

Required profile

• Strong communication skills with clear presentation and active listening abilities.
• Proven customer‑service experience to build trust and long‑term relationships.
• Demonstrated sales skills, including prospecting, negotiation, and closing.
• Basic understanding of insurance and financial products, preferably in trade finance.
• Experience in training or coaching clients and colleagues.
• Relevant experience in sales, finance, banking, or insurance is an advantage.
• Ability to work on‑site in Kampala and travel locally as needed.
• Diploma or degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
