Programme Coordinator – Organizational Development & Advocacy

About the role

The Programme Coordinator – Organizational Development & Advocacy will lead the delivery of Restless Development Uganda’s youth employment and market systems portfolio. The role focuses on strengthening the capacity, sustainability and influence of youth‑led organisations and civil‑society partners working to expand economic opportunities for young people.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate organisational strengthening activities with programme managers, consortium partners and ecosystem actors.
• Lead advocacy initiatives that promote youth economic inclusion and influence policy.
• Support capacity‑building workshops and mentorship for youth‑led organisations.
• Monitor and report on programme performance, outcomes and impact.
• Facilitate knowledge sharing and collaboration across districts and partners.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in programme coordination, youth employment or advocacy.
• Demonstrated ability to work with youth‑led organisations and civil‑society partners.
• Strong understanding of youth economic challenges in Uganda.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
• Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive development.
