Project Assistant – Zombo

About the role

The Project Assistant will support Raising The Village’s community development initiatives in Zombo and surrounding villages. Working closely with partner villages, the assistant will help design, implement, and monitor projects aimed at increasing household income and reducing extreme poverty.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct project design review meetings with partner villages and provide feedback on designs and budgets.
• Co‑facilitate training activities such as financial literacy, water and sanitation, agriculture, livestock care, and health outreach.
• Implement RTV’s project methodologies to achieve income‑generation and poverty‑reduction goals.
• Prepare and submit lists of required goods and services to procurement, verify inputs before distribution, and manage logistics.
• Provide ongoing support to community groups and households to ensure project compliance and sustainability.
• Identify risks, propose mitigation measures, and recommend improvements.
• Develop work plans, produce weekly field reports, and assist with donor reporting and proposal writing.
• Participate in staff and cluster meetings, submit financial requests, and maintain a photo repository for data tracking.

Required profile

• University degree in Community Development, Project Management, Development Studies, Social Work, or related fields.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in community development programs, project management, facilitation, or leadership.
