Project Implementation Officer

About the role

Raising The Village is seeking a Project Implementation Officer to support community‑based projects in Gulu, Uganda. You will help design, deliver and monitor interventions that aim to increase household income and reduce extreme poverty in partner villages.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct project design review meetings with partner villages and provide feedback on designs and budgets.
• Co‑facilitate training activities such as financial literacy, water and sanitation, agriculture, livestock management and health outreach.
• Implement RTV’s project methodologies to increase household income and reduce poverty.
• Prepare procurement lists, verify goods before distribution and manage logistics.
• Follow up with community groups and households to ensure compliance and continuity.
• Identify risks, propose mitigation measures and recommend improvements.
• Develop and manage work plans, submit weekly field reports and support donor reporting.
• Attend staff and cluster meetings, submit financial requests and share project photographs for data repositories.
• Provide feedback to improve project methodologies and suggest sustainable activities.

Required profile

• No prior professional experience required (entry‑level).
• Willingness to work in rural communities and travel to project sites.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
