Project Officer – EAR Health

About the role

World Vision Uganda is seeking a Project Officer to lead the Ear Health (EAR) component of its health programme. Based in Minakulu, the role will support the implementation of integrated ear health services, ensuring alignment with the organisation’s 2026‑2030 country strategy and fostering collaboration with district health authorities and partners.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage integrated EAR health plans and budgets in line with the country strategy.
• Coordinate ENT service delivery across supported health facilities and strengthen referral systems.
• Support cluster and AP teams in grant implementation, monitoring budgets, expenditures and project timelines.
• Engage district health departments, sub‑regional organisations and referral hospitals to ensure synergy and sustainability.
• Lead stakeholder advocacy, partnership initiatives and accountability mechanisms to capture feedback.
• Track technical model fidelity with the MEAL team and implement recommendations from audits and reviews.
• Participate in monitoring processes, prepare technical sections of semi‑annual and annual progress reports, and review CHW reports for action planning.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in project planning, implementation and monitoring within the health sector.
• Strong understanding of ENT service delivery and referral networks.
• Ability to work collaboratively with government health departments, NGOs and community partners.
• Excellent reporting and documentation skills.
