Quality Assurance & QC Process Specialist

About the role

The Quality Assurance & QC Process Specialist will lead Sim Packaging Solutions' quality management system, ensuring product compliance with ISO 9001:2015, UNBS regulations and Good Manufacturing Practices. Reporting to the General Manager, the role drives continuous improvement across all manufacturing processes.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement departmental strategies to enhance operational efficiency.
• Maintain and update QA/QC procedures, standards and processes.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015, GMP and UNBS requirements.
• Conduct internal audits, support World Class Manufacturing initiatives and maintain audit readiness.
• Oversee inspection of raw materials, work‑in‑progress and finished goods, ensuring timely release of conforming products.
• Supervise QC inspection, testing and laboratory activities, monitoring critical process parameters and quality trends.
• Coordinate containment, corrective actions and root‑cause analysis for product or process defects.
• Develop, track and close CAPA plans for deviations, complaints and out‑of‑specification results.
• Manage product testing, validation and release schedules.

Required profile

• Mid‑level professional with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001:2015, GMP and UNBS standards.
• Proven ability to lead internal audits and drive continuous improvement.
• Excellent analytical skills for defect trend analysis and root‑cause investigations.
