Receiving Clerk – Warehouse & Logistics

About the role

The Receiving Clerk will coordinate the intake of tiles and sanitary ware, ensuring every delivery is accurately verified, inspected and stored safely. This position is essential for maintaining inventory integrity and supporting smooth warehouse operations.

Key responsibilities

• Receive incoming tiles and sanitary ware following approved procedures and verify against purchase orders, delivery notes and transfer documents.
• Inspect tiles for damage, chipping or packaging defects and sanitary ware for cracks or breakages, reporting any issues immediately.
• Prepare and process Goods Received Notes (GRNs) and update the inventory and warehouse management systems promptly.
• Coordinate the movement of received items to designated storage locations, ensuring proper labeling and protection of fragile products.
• Collaborate with transporters, logistics teams and other departments, preparing receiving reports and supporting stock‑taking activities.

Required profile

• Diploma or certificate in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Warehouse Operations or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in warehouse receiving, inventory control or logistics operations.
• Experience in the tiles, sanitary ware, building materials or distribution sector is an advantage.
• Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with inventory management systems.
