Reservations & Guest Operations Assistant

About the role

The Reservations & Guest Operations Assistant will manage day‑to‑day bookings, guest communications and property coordination for a portfolio of furnished apartments in Entebbe and Pearl Marina. The role starts with on‑site training and then shifts to a largely remote workflow, with occasional property visits.

Key responsibilities

• Manage reservations on Airbnb, Booking.com and direct/WhatsApp channels, keeping calendars up to date and handling confirmations, changes, extensions and cancellations.
• Communicate promptly with guests from inquiry through check‑in, stay and checkout, resolving routine issues and escalating significant matters.
• Promote available properties on social media and relevant WhatsApp groups, generate leads and follow up to convert them into confirmed bookings.
• Record and maintain accurate booking data, including source, guest details, stay dates, fees and commissions, for monthly performance reporting.
• Conduct inventory and asset audits for new properties and keep property inventory records current.
• Schedule and coordinate cleaners around check‑ins and check‑outs, monitor supplies and report damages or maintenance needs.

Required profile

• Flexible to work varying hours aligned with bookings, guest communication, check‑ins and check‑outs.
• Comfortable with remote work while being able to visit properties on‑site when required.
• Basic understanding of hospitality or property‑management processes.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Airbnb platform.
• Proficiency with the Booking.com platform.
• Effective communication via WhatsApp.
• Experience promoting listings on social media channels.

What we offer

• Base salary of UGX 500,000 net per month.
• Commission on qualifying bookings: 2.5% of management fee for broker‑sourced bookings and 10% for self‑generated bookings.
