Risk Advisor / Agent

About the role

The Risk Advisor/Agent will join NIC Life Assurance’s head office in Kampala to generate new business opportunities and nurture strong client relationships for life‑insurance products. The role emphasizes customer acquisition, policy retention and sustainable premium growth while upholding regulatory and ethical standards.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new sales leads across targeted market segments.
• Build and maintain long‑term relationships with individual and corporate clients.
• Promote NIC Life Assurance’s range of insurance products and services.
• Drive customer acquisition, policy renewal and premium growth.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory, legal and internal policy requirements.

Required profile

• Minimum Diploma in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Insurance, Finance, Economics, Commerce, Social Sciences or a related field.
• Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal abilities.
• Self‑driven, results‑oriented and highly motivated.
• Passion for sales and delivering exceptional customer service.
