Sales Associate – Insurance Agency

About the role

The Sales Associate will work full‑time on‑site at our central office, driving new business and nurturing existing client relationships for an insurance agency. You will act as the primary point of contact for prospective and current customers, presenting our advertising and marketing services and guiding them through the sales process.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and prospect potential customers through research and networking.
• Present agency advertising, marketing, and promotional services to prospects.
• Prepare and deliver tailored proposals and follow up to close sales.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure client needs are captured and met.
• Monitor campaign performance and provide regular updates to clients.
• Track sales activities and maintain accurate records in CRM or other sales tools.
• Participate in meetings, networking events, and client visits to build a sustainable pipeline.

Required profile

• Strong sales, negotiation and persuasion abilities with a focus on long‑term relationships.
• Excellent spoken and written English communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to organize work, manage time effectively and keep accurate sales records.
• Comfortable in a fast‑paced, target‑driven environment and collaborative team settings.
• Prior experience in sales, customer service or client‑facing roles is an advantage.
• Diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or related field is beneficial but not mandatory.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM systems.
• Competence in spreadsheet applications.
• General office software skills (email, document editing, etc.).
