Sales Agent – Advertising & Marketing Services

About the role

This full‑time, on‑site Sales Agent position is based in Kampala and focuses on promoting the agency’s advertising and marketing services to new and existing clients.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and approach potential clients, present the agency’s advertising and marketing services, and close sales to meet individual and team targets.
• Conduct client meetings, explain service packages, prepare basic proposals, and follow up on leads through calls, visits, and digital channels.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing clients, address inquiries, and coordinate with internal teams to ensure service delivery aligns with client expectations.
• Keep accurate records of activities, provide regular sales reports, and participate in training and team meetings.

Required profile

• Strong communication and customer‑service skills with the ability to engage clients professionally and build long‑term relationships.
• Solid sales skills including lead generation, negotiation and closing, preferably in advertising, marketing or related services.
• Knowledge of insurance products or experience selling financial or service‑based products is an added advantage.
• Ability to learn quickly, adapt to new sales techniques, and share knowledge with peers.
• Basic understanding of marketing and advertising concepts; proficiency with common office and communication tools; ability to work under targets; ethical and professional conduct.
