Sales Agent – Business Planning & Advertising Services

About the role

Sales Agents at Business Skills Uganda work full‑time on‑site in Kampala, promoting services that help organisations with business planning, advertising and strategic development. The role involves engaging prospective and existing clients, identifying opportunities and guiding them toward suitable solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Identify new business opportunities and generate leads.
• Present and demonstrate business planning, advertising and development services.
• Follow up leads, answer client inquiries and provide basic guidance, including insurance‑related options where relevant.
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions and prepare simple sales reports.
• Collaborate with the sales team to achieve individual and collective targets.
• Participate in regular training sessions to improve product knowledge and sales techniques.

Required profile

• Strong communication and customer‑service skills.
• Proven sales experience, preferably in business development, advertising or insurance services.
• Familiarity with basic insurance concepts.
• Ability to work on‑site in Kampala, manage time effectively and meet sales targets.
• Minimum diploma in Business, Marketing, Communications or a related field.

Required skills

• Proficiency with office software.
• Experience using mobile communication tools for reporting and client follow‑up.
