Sales Agent – Insurance

About the role

Join a growing Ugandan insurance provider as a full‑time Sales Agent based in Kampala. You will help individuals, families, and businesses find the right coverage by guiding them through product selection, application, and enrollment.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and prospect new clients through outreach and follow‑ups.
• Present suitable insurance products and explain coverage options and terms.
• Assist customers through the application and enrollment process.
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions and sales activities.
• Provide ongoing customer support and coordinate with internal teams on policy administration.
• Participate in training sessions to stay current on products, regulations, and market trends.
• Achieve set sales targets while upholding professional and ethical standards.

Required profile

• Strong communication and customer‑service abilities.
• Proven sales skills including prospecting, negotiation and closing.
• Knowledge of insurance policies, coverage terms and basic regulatory requirements.
• Quick learner who can absorb and share product information.
• Basic computer literacy and proficiency with office and CRM tools.
• Organized, able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Certificate, diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Insurance or related field is an advantage; prior sales or financial‑services experience preferred.
