Sales Agent - Nakawa

About the role

SILICON VALLEY GLOBAL PH INC - International operates in international trade finance, supporting businesses with cross-border transactions and financial solutions. It is hiring a full-time, on-site Sales Agent for the Nakawa area of Kampala. The agent identifies and engages potential clients, presents trade finance and related services, and manages the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and engage potential clients and present trade finance and related services
• Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing
• Conduct client meetings and respond to client inquiries
• Prepare proposals and provide basic training or product explanations to clients
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities
• Deliver professional customer service and coordinate with internal teams
• Meet sales targets, build long-term client relationships and represent the company in the Nakawa and broader Kampala market

Required profile

• Ideally previous experience in sales, customer-facing roles or financial services; a relevant diploma or degree is an advantage
• Insurance-related knowledge or experience, especially in financial or trade-related products
• Basic understanding of international trade finance or related financial services, with the ability to learn product details quickly
• Goal orientation, negotiation skills and ability to work independently while collaborating with a diverse team
