Sales Associate – Insurance Agency (Kampala)

About the role

The Sales Associate will work on-site in Kampala, engaging prospective and existing clients of an insurance agency. The role focuses on consultative selling of recruitment and advertising solutions to meet business needs.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and qualify leads through outreach calls and meetings.
• Prepare and present proposals to prospective clients.
• Follow up to close sales and maintain accurate records in sales systems.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth service delivery.
• Gather client feedback to improve offerings.
• Achieve individual and team sales targets.
• Represent the agency professionally to build long‑term relationships.

Required profile

• Strong sales, negotiation and client relationship‑building abilities with a consultative approach.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and active listening skills.
• Basic computer proficiency and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Reliability, integrity and professionalism when interacting with clients and colleagues.
• Prior experience in sales or customer service.
• Relevant post‑secondary education or training in business, marketing or communications (beneficial).
• Willingness to work on‑site in Kampala and collaborate with a diverse team.
