Sales Executive – Business Planning & Advertising

About the role

The Sales Executive will drive new business opportunities for Business Skills Uganda, focusing on business planning, advertising and development services. Working on‑site in Kampala, you will build relationships with prospective and existing clients and deliver tailored solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, qualify and pursue new B2B opportunities.
• Build and maintain relationships with prospective and existing clients.
• Conduct client meetings, prepare proposals and follow up on leads.
• Manage a structured sales pipeline and achieve revenue targets.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align client needs with service offerings.
• Track market trends and provide regular sales reports and forecasts.
• Represent the company professionally and contribute to continuous improvement of sales processes.

Required profile

• Strong business development skills, including lead generation, prospecting and closing.
• Experience in sales planning, forecasting and pipeline management.
• Knowledge of advertising and marketing concepts.
• Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills in English.
• Organizational and time‑management abilities with attention to detail.
• Comfortable working independently and collaboratively.
• Diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Sales or related field, or equivalent experience.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM tools.
• Basic office software (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience using reporting dashboards.
