Sales Executive – Insurance Agency

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Sales Executive to join our insurance agency in Kampala. The role is full‑time and on‑site, focusing on generating new business, nurturing client relationships and achieving revenue targets.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, cold calls and follow‑up activities.
• Present agency services, prepare proposals, negotiate terms and close sales.
• Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients, providing ongoing support and ensuring high satisfaction.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align sales efforts with recruitment and advertising campaigns.
• Prepare regular sales reports and contribute ideas for market expansion.
• Travel within Kampala to attend client meetings as required.

Required profile

• Proven experience in sales, business development or account management, preferably in recruitment, advertising or related services.
• Strong communication, negotiation and presentation abilities.
• Ability to research markets, generate leads and plan targeted outreach.
• Excellent organizational and time‑management skills.
• Goal‑oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
• Relevant diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or a related field is preferred.
• Good knowledge of the Kampala market and willingness to travel locally.

Required skills

• Experience with CRM or sales‑tracking tools.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office or similar productivity software.
