Sales Executive – Insurance Agency

About the role

The Sales Executive will work full‑time on‑site in Kampala for an insurance agency. The role focuses on generating new business, managing a sales pipeline and building lasting client relationships to meet revenue targets.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities through prospecting and cold outreach.
• Conduct client meetings, presentations and prepare tailored proposals.
• Negotiate terms and close deals in line with set targets.
• Collaborate with internal teams to accurately scope client needs and ensure timely service delivery.
• Monitor market trends, maintain up‑to‑date sales records and report on performance.

Required profile

• Proven experience in sales or business development.
• Strong communication, negotiation and presentation abilities.
• Ability to manage a sales pipeline and work towards targets.
• Good organisational and time‑management skills.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Kampala and conduct regular field visits.
• Diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Integrity, professionalism and a client‑focused mindset.

• Experience using CRM or sales‑tracking tools.
