Sales Executive - Insurance Agency

About the role

An insurance agency is hiring a full-time, on-site Sales Executive in Kampala, reporting to the Insurance Agency Manager within the Sales and Marketing department. The role covers identifying and pursuing new business, building client relationships and promoting the company's services.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect for new business and conduct sales meetings and presentations
• Prepare proposals, negotiate terms and close deals
• Meet set sales targets and contribute to long-term client retention
• Collaborate with internal teams to refine service offerings and gather market feedback
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities

Required profile

• Prior experience in sales, marketing or related fields; experience in training or professional services is an advantage
• Relevant academic background in Business, Marketing, Communications or a similar discipline is preferred
• Familiarity with the Kampala business environment is beneficial

• Prospecting, pipeline management and relationship building
• Communication, presentation and negotiation skills, in person and in writing
• Basic digital tools such as email, spreadsheets and presentation software
