Sales Executive – Insurance Agency (Kampala)

About the role

The Insurance Agency is looking for a full‑time Sales Executive to work on‑site in Kampala. You will be responsible for generating new business, managing a pipeline of prospects, and presenting the agency’s services to decision‑makers.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities across the insurance market.
• Conduct outreach through calls, emails and face‑to‑face meetings.
• Prepare and deliver sales proposals, presentations and negotiate terms.
• Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients.
• Collaborate with account and creative teams to ensure smooth client onboarding.
• Track performance against sales targets and report results.
• Monitor market trends and competitor offerings to refine sales strategies.

Required profile

• Proven experience in sales, business development or account management within advertising, marketing or related services.
• Strong communication, presentation and negotiation abilities.
• Basic understanding of marketing and advertising concepts such as campaign planning, branding and digital channels.
• Ability to organise workload, manage pipelines and use CRM or sales‑tracking tools.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Kampala and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
• Relevant diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or equivalent experience.
