Sales Executive

About the role

Peritum Motors Ltd is looking for a motivated Sales Executive to join its Kampala team. You will be responsible for generating new vehicle business, managing inbound enquiries and proactively reaching out to prospects, while delivering a high‑quality customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Handle inbound sales inquiries from phone, WhatsApp, social media, website and walk‑in customers.
• Conduct daily outbound cold calls and follow‑up on existing leads.
• Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline through prospecting and relationship management.
• Assess customer needs and recommend appropriate vehicle options.
• Prepare quotations, explain import processes, pricing and timelines.
• Negotiate and close sales while protecting company profitability.
• Record all activities accurately in the CRM system.
• Achieve monthly sales, revenue and activity targets.
• Provide excellent after‑sales service and stay updated on vehicle specifications and market trends.

Required profile

• Proven experience in sales, business development or customer relationship management.
• Strong communication, negotiation and objection‑handling abilities.
• Comfortable making a high volume of outbound cold calls.
• Self‑motivated, goal‑oriented and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Experience in automotive, banking, insurance, real estate or other high‑value sales is highly preferred.
