Sales Manager – East Africa (ENA, DDGS, Food Grade CO)

About the role

The Sales Manager will be based in Kampala, Uganda and will travel extensively across East Africa to drive sales of Extra Neutral Alcohol (ENA), Dried Distillers Grains with Soluble (DDGS) and Food Grade CO. The role offers a monthly salary budget of USD 2,000‑2,500, negotiable based on experience.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve business growth across East Africa.
• Drive sales of ENA, DDGS, and Food Grade CO products.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities and key accounts.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Conduct market research, pricing analysis, and competitor tracking.
• Coordinate with production, logistics, and commercial teams for timely order execution.
• Prepare sales forecasts and business reports.

Required profile

• MBA in Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in a sales leadership role.
• Proven experience in African markets.
• Experience in ENA, ethanol, distillery, DDGS, animal feed, or food grade CO industries is preferred.
• Strong communication, negotiation and business development abilities.
• Willingness to travel extensively across East Africa.
