Sales & Marketing Representative – Insurance (Kampala)

About the role

This full‑time, on‑site position is based in Kampala and focuses on driving insurance sales through proactive client engagement and marketing support. You will work closely with the Insurance Agency Manager and the broader sales and marketing team.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and engage potential clients through calls, meetings and outreach activities.
• Present insurance service offerings and manage client relationships throughout the sales cycle.
• Provide excellent customer service and follow‑up to ensure client satisfaction.
• Assist in creating marketing materials and support promotional initiatives.
• Participate in training sessions and share product knowledge internally.
• Collaborate with team members to meet sales targets and improve outreach strategies.
• Accurately report daily activities and adhere to company values and policies.

Required profile

• Strong communication and customer‑service abilities.
• Solid sales and sales‑management experience, with a focus on lead generation and deal closure.
• Training skills to educate clients and support internal knowledge sharing.
• Basic understanding of marketing principles such as advertising, promotion and brand awareness.
• Professional, collaborative attitude and ability to work in an on‑site team environment.
• Good organizational and time‑management skills, capable of handling multiple client interactions.
• A diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Sales or a related field is preferred, along with prior experience in sales or customer‑facing roles.
