Sales Officer – Nakawa (International Trade Finance)

About the role

The Sales Officer – Nakawa is a full‑time, on‑site position based in Kampala, focused on driving sales and client acquisition within the international trade finance market. You will work closely with clients and channel partners to deliver secure and efficient cross‑border financial solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and qualify leads in the Nakawa and surrounding areas.
• Present appropriate trade finance solutions and manage the sales cycle from initial contact to closing.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients and channel partners.
• Prepare proposals, track sales performance and maintain accurate records in the CRM system.
• Conduct market research and participate in outreach activities to grow the client base.

Required profile

• Strong sales operations and channel sales experience with a proven ability to meet targets.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills for presenting solutions professionally.
• Lead generation experience, including prospecting and networking.
• Interest or knowledge of international trade finance, banking or financial services.
• Diploma or degree in Business, Finance, Marketing or a related field (preferred).
• Prior experience in sales or client‑facing roles is an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency with basic computer applications.
• Experience using CRM or sales tracking tools.
