Sales Representative – Insurance Agency (Kampala)

About the role

The Insurance Agency is seeking a full‑time Sales Representative to work on‑site in Kampala. You will be responsible for identifying prospective clients, presenting the agency’s services, and building long‑term relationships with organisations that need recruitment, HR or advertising solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Generate leads and schedule sales meetings with potential clients.
• Conduct face‑to‑face or virtual presentations and prepare tailored proposals.
• Follow up on inquiries, negotiate terms within guidelines, and close sales.
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions and track sales performance.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure service delivery meets commitments.
• Gather market feedback and support promotional activities to achieve revenue targets.

Required profile

• Strong client‑facing communication and presentation abilities.
• Proven experience in sales or business development.
• Ability to manage a sales pipeline and meet targets.
• Knowledge of the Kampala market and interest in recruitment, HR or advertising services.
• Willingness to work on‑site and represent the agency at client meetings and events.
• Diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or related field (experience may substitute).

Required skills

• Proficiency with basic digital tools such as email.
• Experience using CRM systems.
• Competence with office productivity software for tracking and reporting.
