Sales Representative

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Sales Representative to join our insurance agency in Kampala. The role is full‑time and on‑site, focusing on expanding our client base and driving revenue through proactive sales activities.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities and generate leads.
• Meet prospective clients, present insurance products and negotiate contracts.
• Manage the complete sales cycle from prospecting to proposal development, negotiation and closing.
• Maintain regular contact with existing clients, respond to inquiries and provide ongoing support.
• Prepare and submit regular sales reports and collaborate with internal teams to meet client needs.
• Attend client meetings, industry events and networking functions to increase brand visibility.

Required profile

• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal abilities.
• Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
• Ability to work on‑site in Kampala and adapt to a fast‑moving environment.
• Ethical, customer‑focused mindset with a willingness to learn and grow.
• Diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or related field (preferred).
• Previous experience in advertising or other client‑facing roles is a plus.

Required skills

• Basic computer proficiency, including email and Microsoft Office.
• Experience with CRM and sales tracking tools.
