Sales Service Representative

About the role

Platinum Credit Limited is seeking a full‑time Sales Service Representative to join its Kampala office. You will be the front‑line contact for prospective and existing clients, guiding them through the loan application journey and helping them choose the right credit solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and approach potential customers through outreach and lead generation.
• Explain the range of loan products, assess client needs, and ensure all required documentation is complete.
• Assist customers through the application, approval, and disbursement process, coordinating with internal teams.
• Maintain relationships with existing clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.
• Meet assigned sales targets and prepare simple activity reports.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Sales and negotiation ability, with experience in lead generation and closing deals.
• Basic financial literacy and understanding of loan documentation.
• Organizational and time‑management capabilities to handle multiple clients.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English; knowledge of local languages is a plus.
• Comfort using computers and mobile tools for data entry and reporting.
• Prior experience in microfinance, banking, or financial services sales is beneficial.
• Relevant qualification (certificate, diploma or degree) in Business, Finance, Marketing or a related field preferred.
