Sales Agent – Insurance Agency

About the role

This full‑time, on‑site Sales Agent position is based in Kampala. The role focuses on identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, pitching the agency’s insurance services to potential clients, and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers.

Key responsibilities

• Meet with prospects to understand their needs and present agency solutions.
• Prepare and deliver sales proposals and negotiate contracts.
• Follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction and address any issues.
• Collaborate closely with marketing and creative teams to align client requirements with agency offerings.
• Participate in sales planning, reporting, and performance tracking.
• Support cross‑functional initiatives to drive business growth.

Required profile

• Strong communication skills, including clear presentation and active listening.
• Customer service and client relationship management experience.
• Proven sales experience, preferably in advertising, marketing or related services.
• Familiarity with insurance or other service‑based industries is an advantage.
• Experience training or mentoring colleagues or clients on products and services.
• Goal‑oriented mindset with the ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
• Ability to work on‑site in Kampala and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
• Diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or a related field preferred.
