Sales Specialist

About the role

Platinum Credit Limited is seeking a Sales Specialist to join its Kampala branch. The role focuses on promoting the company’s micro‑finance products to civil servants, teachers and employees of partner organisations, guiding clients through the loan application process and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and approach potential clients in the assigned territory.
• Explain loan products, terms and conditions clearly to prospects.
• Assist customers through the full application cycle, from initial enquiry to disbursement.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to encourage repeat business.
• Achieve and exceed individual sales targets and contribute to branch goals.
• Collaborate with branch and regional teams on sales promotions and field activities.
• Provide market feedback and support reporting on sales performance.
• Support training of new team members and share best practices.

Required profile

• Strong communication and customer service abilities.
• Proven sales experience with a track record of meeting or surpassing targets.
• Ability to work independently on‑site in Kampala and manage time and territory efficiently.
• Educational background in Business, Marketing, Finance or related field is an advantage.
• Prior exposure to financial services, banking or micro‑finance in East Africa is beneficial but not mandatory.
