Sales Support Agent

About the role

This full‑time, on‑site Sales Support Agent position in Kampala supports the sales team delivering international trade finance services. You will handle client inquiries, prepare quotations, assist with sales documentation and ensure accurate, timely processing of client requests.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update customer records.
• Coordinate with internal teams to resolve issues and monitor project progress.
• Provide after‑sales support and share product/service information with clients.
• Assist with basic training and onboarding of new customers.
• Collaborate with sales representatives to identify opportunities, improve satisfaction and support revenue growth.

Required profile

• Strong communication, customer service and sales skills.
• Willingness to learn insurance‑related concepts relevant to trade finance.
• Ability to train and onboard clients.
• Proficiency with office productivity tools (email, spreadsheets, CRM systems).
• Organizational, time‑management and attention‑to‑detail abilities.
• Familiarity with international trade or financial services is a plus.
• Diploma or degree in Business, Finance, Marketing or related field preferred.
• Prior experience in sales support, customer service or administrative roles.
