Sales Team Leader / Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Sales Team Leader to drive customer acquisition, loan disbursement and revenue growth for our financial services business in Kampala. The role involves leading a sales team, building referral partnerships and managing the end‑to‑end sales pipeline.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and supervise a sales team to meet acquisition, loan and sales targets.
• Develop and manage referral channels and strategic partnerships to generate high‑quality leads.
• Oversee the sales pipeline from lead generation through application processing to loan disbursement.
• Monitor performance metrics and implement corrective actions to improve results.
• Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align offerings with market demand.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance or related field.
• Minimum three years of experience as a Sales Team Leader in banking, micro‑finance, SACCOs, money‑lending or similar financial services.
• Proven track record selling financial solutions to both mass‑market and high‑net‑worth clients.
