Salesperson

About the role

The Salesperson will work on‑site in Kampala, actively prospecting and engaging potential clients for Platinum Credit Limited’s loan and finance products. You will guide customers through the application and approval process while meeting sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect, visit and engage potential clients to present loan and finance products.
• Meet and exceed daily/weekly sales targets.
• Explain product features, terms and collect/verify customer documentation.
• Maintain accurate records of leads, conversions and client interactions.
• Build and maintain relationships with existing customers and resolve basic inquiries.
• Collaborate with branch and credit teams and provide feedback on market trends and customer needs.

Required profile

• Strong sales, negotiation and persuasion abilities with a focus on meeting targets.
• Customer service and relationship‑management skills, including active listening and empathy.
• Basic financial literacy and understanding of loan products and credit processes.
• Effective communication in English and local languages, both spoken and written.
• Organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple client interactions.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Kampala, travel within assigned areas and adapt to a fast‑paced, target‑driven environment.
• High integrity, professionalism and commitment to inclusive customer engagement.

Required skills

• Proficiency in basic computer applications.
• Familiarity with CRM or sales‑tracking tools.
