About the role
Under the direction of the school principal, the teacher will deliver a comprehensive Physical Education program for middle‑school students, splitting time between Padan Elementary (60%) and Fairmont Elementary (40%). The position supports the district’s mission by fostering a safe, student‑centered learning environment.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement a sound educational program using effective instructional and motivational techniques aligned with the approved curriculum.
- Maintain a safe, caring environment that promotes high academic and ethical standards.
- Perform additional duties directly related to the position as required by school leadership.
Required profile
- Single‑subject Physical Education credential; English Learner (EL) authorization preferred.
- BA degree in Kinesiology or a related field (may qualify for an emergency teaching permit).
- Submit current California Credential, resume, three letters of recommendation, and unofficial transcripts for review.
