About the role
National Medical Stores is seeking qualified Ugandan professionals for two senior positions at its head office: a Senior Maintenance Engineering Officer to oversee fleet, warehouse and cold‑chain equipment, and a Public Relations Officer to manage stakeholder communications and corporate branding.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate repair, maintenance and proactive servicing of the NMS fleet, warehouse and cold‑chain equipment across the country.
- Develop and implement stakeholder management plans, social‑media engagement strategies and corporate social‑responsibility campaigns.
Required profile
- Honours Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Automotive Engineering (maintenance role) or in Public Relations, Journalism, Communications, English, Marketing or related field (PR role).
- Minimum four years of relevant experience, including at least two years in a supervisory capacity for the maintenance position.
Required skills
- Mechanical engineering and maintenance planning.
- Documentation and data management.
- Social‑media management and branding activities.
