Senior Sales Representative – Financial Services

About the role

The Senior Sales Representative will work full‑time on‑site in Kampala, driving sales growth for Platinum Credit’s range of financial products. You will prospect new clients, onboard them, and guide them through the loan application process while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect, acquire, and onboard new clients for various loan products.
• Explain product features, eligibility criteria, and guide customers through applications.
• Meet individual and team sales targets and track leads and conversions.
• Prepare regular reports on sales performance.
• Collaborate with branch and credit teams to ensure smooth processing of applications.
• Resolve client queries and maintain high standards of service.
• Mentor junior sales staff and support field campaigns.
• Contribute to sales strategies that expand market reach.

Required profile

• Proven sales, negotiation and closing ability in financial services or related sectors.
• Excellent customer service, relationship management and communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time‑management capabilities.
• Basic financial literacy with understanding of micro‑finance or consumer lending.
• Leadership experience, including mentoring or coaching sales teams.
• Comfortable working in a field‑based, on‑site environment in Kampala.
• Minimum diploma in Business, Marketing, Finance or related field; degree is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Ability to use basic digital tools for lead tracking and reporting.
