Service Engineer – High Pressure Gas Compressors

About the role

We are looking for a Service Engineer to provide field service, troubleshooting and technical support for high‑pressure gas compressors handling hydrogen, CO₂, nitrogen and other industrial gases. The role involves ensuring high equipment uptime, managing service contracts and delivering technical training to customers and dealers.

Key responsibilities

• Manage CNG stations within the assigned territory to achieve maximum uptime.
• Plan and execute preventive maintenance and corrective repairs for compressors and accessories.
• Oversee inventory for operation & maintenance contracts and coordinate with logistics.
• Develop and lead a sub‑contracting team while following Atlas Copco service processes.
• Handle erection, commissioning and warranty analysis of new compressor packages.
• Maintain customer relationships, conduct regular visits and ensure compliance with service level agreements.
• Prepare training calendars and deliver technical training to aftermarket dealers and customer personnel.
• Monitor non‑core purchases, support vendor order management and ensure timely invoicing and payment follow‑up.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics or a related engineering field.
• 2–5 years of experience in technical service roles, preferably with high‑pressure gas compressors.
• Hands‑on experience troubleshooting reciprocating compressors, refrigeration systems and control instrumentation.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting capabilities with an understanding of control circuits.
