About the role
Starfly Steel (Uganda) Co. Ltd, a large‑scale steel manufacturing and trade enterprise, is seeking a diligent Store Keeper to manage inventory and support warehouse operations at its Kamwokya facility in Kampala.
Key responsibilities
- Perform daily stocktaking and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Analyse stock trends and prepare weekly work plans, as well as monthly and annual inventory reports.
- Coordinate with procurement and production teams to ensure timely availability of steel products.
- Investigate and resolve customer complaints related to stock discrepancies.
- Recommend process improvements to management based on inventory data.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree or diploma from a recognised university.
- 1‑2 years of experience in stocktaking or warehouse operations.
- Age between 22 and 32 years.
- Strong analytical and communication abilities.
Required skills
- Proficiency in inventory management and stocktaking procedures.
- Ability to generate and interpret inventory reports.
- Effective problem‑solving and customer service skills.
