Surrounding Country FMCG Sales Supervisor

About the role

The company is seeking a proactive FMCG Sales Supervisor to develop new sales channels and expand its distribution network across surrounding countries. The role focuses on achieving sales targets, launching new products and building strong relationships with distributors and key customers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop new sales channels and expand the distribution network in surrounding countries.
• Achieve assigned sales targets and drive sustainable revenue growth.
• Promote and launch new FMCG products in the market.
• Build, maintain and strengthen long‑term relationships with distributors, wholesalers and key customers.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities and customer needs to identify new business opportunities.
• Ensure timely collection of accounts receivable and maintain healthy inventory levels within the distribution network.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, International Trade or a related field.
• 3–5 years of continuous experience in FMCG sales, with all previous roles in the FMCG industry.
• Proven experience in developing new markets, managing distributors and achieving sales targets.
• Experience with food and beverage products such as sugar, salt, wheat flour, rice, edible oils, soft drinks or similar FMCG food products is highly preferred.
• Fluency in English and at least one of Lingala, Swahili or French.
• Strong negotiation, communication and relationship management abilities.
• Willingness and ability to travel frequently within the assigned surrounding countries.
