Sustainable Supply Manager

About the role

Farm Africa is seeking a commercially‑driven Sustainable Supply Manager to expand its advisory services and sustainable supply‑chain work across Eastern Africa. You will work with global buyers, traders, retailers and impact investors to develop solutions that strengthen agricultural value chains while improving livelihoods for smallholder farmers.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of advisory projects on sustainable coffee and horticulture supply chains.
• Provide technical assistance to impact investors and blended‑finance funds.
• Develop ESG, traceability and responsible‑sourcing solutions for corporate clients.
• Identify new business opportunities, create proposals, win contracts and oversee project implementation.
• Build and maintain long‑term partnerships with corporates, traders, retailers and investors.

Required profile

• Strong commercial mindset with a passion for sustainable agriculture.
• Proven track record of generating revenue and securing strategic partnerships.
• Experience in agricultural, food or commodity supply chains.
• Good knowledge of ESG, sustainability, traceability and certification frameworks.
• Excellent negotiation, stakeholder‑management and communication skills.

• 18‑month fixed‑term contract with a salary of GBP 55,000‑65,000 per year.
