Trade Finance Supervisor

About the role

The Trade Finance Supervisor will oversee the collection of fees and proper accounting for bid securities, guarantees, invoice discounting, LPO financing and certificate discounting. Reporting to the Manager Credit Evaluation‑SME/Commercial, the role is based at the Head Office in Kampala.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare the monthly Bid Bonds & Guarantees transaction volume report by the 5th of each month.
• Maintain a 0% error rate in processing Bid Bonds and Guarantees.
• Ensure complete and accurate documentation for invoice discounting, LPO financing and certificate discounting.
• Achieve a 2‑business‑day turnaround time for new guarantees and discounting requests.
• Safeguard trade finance documents and respond promptly to related queries.

Required profile

• First degree (minimum second class lower) in any discipline.
• At least two years banking experience, with one year in core lending functions.
• Integrity, results‑driven orientation and ability to work across organizational boundaries.
• Ability to make decisions under uncertainty and uphold bank values.
