About the role
SMARTEC ELECTRONICS LTD is hiring an Ultrasonic Welding Operator in Kampala (Kamwokya). The operator welds products according to work instructions and specifications, sets and verifies welding parameters, records production data and keeps the ultrasonic welder running.
Key responsibilities
- Weld pipelines according to the work instruction and product specification.
- Set and verify ultrasonic welding parameters for each product model.
- Record welding data on the production log accurately and on time.
- Carry out daily checks and basic maintenance of the ultrasonic welder.
- Inspect welded joints and separate any defective units.
- Report machine faults or unusual results immediately.
