About the role
The company is seeking a qualified Accountant to join its finance team in Kamwokya, Uganda. The role involves managing financial records, ensuring compliance with local tax regulations, and supporting donor‑funded projects within the agribusiness sector.
Key responsibilities
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Business Administration (Accounting option) or a related field.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification is mandatory.
- Minimum three years of relevant accounting or finance experience.
- Experience with NGOs, agribusiness organisations, donor‑funded projects or incubation hubs is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of Ugandan tax laws, financial regulations and accounting standards.
- High level of integrity, professionalism and confidentiality.
Required skills
- Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Tally or Sage.
- Ability to apply Ugandan tax regulations and financial reporting standards.
What we offer
- Competitive monthly salary ranging from UGX 1,500,000 to UGX 2,000,000.
