Field Credit & Security Officer

About the role

The Field Credit & Security Officer is responsible for protecting the company's financial assets by recovering delinquent loans, investigating fraud, and ensuring lawful repossession of secured items. This role involves extensive field work, coordination with local authorities, and close collaboration with internal credit teams.

Key responsibilities

• Visit borrowers, guarantors, and referees to follow up on delinquent and defaulted loan accounts.
• Trace hard‑to‑reach individuals and negotiate repayment commitments.
• Investigate suspected fraud, loan irregularities, and misrepresentations.
• Conduct post‑disbursement field checks to identify potential credit risks.
• Support lawful repossession and recovery of secured assets.
• Coordinate with police, local council (LC1), and other authorities on fraud and recovery cases.
• Assist legal representatives with documentation and follow‑up of court recovery matters.
• Maintain accurate records and submit regular recovery and investigation reports.
• Work closely with Credit Agents, CROs, and Branch Managers to reduce portfolio losses.

Required profile

• Entry‑level candidates with up to two years of relevant experience.
• Strong investigative and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to work independently in the field and handle sensitive information responsibly.
