Accountant

About the role

The Accountant will manage the company’s financial records, petty cash, supplier invoices and company assets while ensuring full compliance with statutory regulations. This role supports strategic financial decisions through accurate reporting, analysis and timely payroll processing.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, examine and analyse financial records and periodic reports.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, reconcile bank statements and maintain general ledger accuracy.
• Oversee petty cash, supplier payments and company property tracking.
• Produce monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with tax laws, financial regulations and statutory reporting requirements.
• Process payroll and related statutory deductions.
• Monitor budgets, support financial planning and assist with audits.
• Maintain organized documentation and filing of all financial transactions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum CPA Level III or equivalent professional qualification.
• At least three years of proven accounting experience covering a broad range of functions.
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations, tax laws and reporting standards.
• High level of integrity, professionalism and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Proficiency in QuickBooks accounting software.
