About the role
The United Nations Regional Service Centre in Entebbe (RSCE) is seeking a G5 Administrative Assistant to join its Client Services Section. Reporting to the Chief of Section, the incumbent will contribute to the centre’s mission of delivering efficient, client‑oriented administrative support across the UN system.
Key responsibilities
- Provide day‑to‑day administrative assistance to the Chief of Section and the Client Services team.
- Support the coordination of operational support activities within the RSCE.
- Assist with documentation, record keeping and the preparation of routine reports.
- Facilitate communication between the RSCE and its client entities.
Required profile
- Relevant secondary education or equivalent.
- Experience in an administrative or clerical role, preferably within an international or multilateral environment.
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
Required skills
- Proficiency in standard office software (e.g., word processing, spreadsheets).
