Animal Feed Sales Executive – Uganda

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Animal Feed Sales Executive to lead the promotion and distribution of DDGS and related feed products across Uganda and the wider East African region. The role combines market development, customer relationship management and technical support to drive sales growth in the livestock and aquaculture sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets for DDGS and other feed lines.
• Identify and onboard new distributors, wholesalers, large farms and cooperatives.
• Conduct field visits, market surveys and competitor analysis to uncover business opportunities.
• Deliver product demonstrations, on‑farm training and technical advice to farmers and feed retailers.
• Expand distribution networks and manage dealer appointments.
• Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts and maintain accurate order documentation.
• Represent the company at agricultural exhibitions, trade fairs and farmer meetings.
• Provide feedback to R&D and production on market needs and product performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Animal Science, Veterinary Science, Agribusiness or related field (preferred).
• 5–15 years of experience in animal feed sales, agricultural inputs or livestock nutrition.
• Proven track record in African markets, especially East Africa.
• Strong knowledge of poultry, dairy, cattle, goat and fish farming systems.
• Ability to work independently and travel extensively across rural and semi‑urban areas.
