About the role
The Assistant Store Manager (Days) leads daytime store operations, supporting the Store Leader in achieving operational, financial, and customer service goals.
Key responsibilities
- Open the store, manage orders and inventory replenishment, and ensure product availability.
- Assist with scheduling, staffing coverage, labor planning, and assign associates during shifts.
- Train, coach, and supervise team members, and serve as Manager on Duty when needed.
- Support merchandising, pricing, promotions, and product presentation.
- Participate in interviewing, onboarding, and training of new associates.
Required profile
- Three years of progressively responsible retail experience; at least two years supervisory experience preferred.
- Driver's license and ability to pass background check.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Required skills
- Working knowledge of inventory management, merchandising, margins, costs, and retail pricing.
- Mathematical ability to perform calculations with percentages, fractions, and decimals.
